Welcome to PowerTaxes.com PLLC.  I am a tax professional with 12+ years of experience preparing  Individual 1040's, along with various State tax returns.  I am a CPA who for the past 12 years has specialized in maximizing refunds for tax clients in all tax brackets.  During my employment at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, I prepared returns for high profile professional athletes.  I have extensive knowledge of the Internal Revenue Code, specifically individual tax laws. 

With the opening of my new office, my practice has grown dramatically over the past year.  This growth has not stood in the way of giving my clients an extra level of service.  Historically the returns I prepare average a refund $904 higher than the prior year return prepared by one of the nationally recognized firms; all this while charging a fee 10% - 30% less than the previous preparer.  The vast majority of my clients are located in the Detroit Metro area.

Along with actually preparing Income Tax returns, I have started to specialize in New Business Start-Ups (C-Corps, S-Corps, and LLCs) and Accounting Services.  My business clients include a Financial Advisor, a Sprinkler System Company, a Boat Chartering Service, a Jewelry Store, a Golf Course, a Vehicle Detailer, a Beauty Supply Company, a Highly Regarded Regional Charity, and many other varieties of businesses.
